Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Interview Sparring ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and Ezequiel Carrizo, operating Interview Sparring ("we", "us", "our"), based in Tenerife, Spain.

2. Description of Service

Interview Sparring is an AI-powered interview coaching platform that provides real-time feedback, coaching tips, performance analysis, and session debriefs to help you prepare for job interviews. The Service uses large language models (including OpenAI) to generate coaching content.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

The Service offers a free tier and paid subscription plans ("Pro" and "Power"). Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your account page.

Prices are stated in USD. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

5. Session Credits

Session credit packs are one-time purchases that grant additional interview sessions beyond your plan's monthly allocation. Credits never expire and are non-transferable. Credits are consumed only when a session is actively started.

6. Refund Policy

Subscriptions: We offer a refund on the initial purchase of a paid plan within 7 days, provided fewer than 3 sessions have been used. Once 3 or more sessions have been started, the subscription is considered consumed and no refund will be issued. Renewals are non-refundable. To request a refund, contact us at support@interviewsparring.com.

Session credit packs: All one-time credit pack purchases are final and non-refundable once checkout is completed.

7. AI Disclaimer

The coaching feedback, scores, and suggestions generated by Interview Sparring are produced by artificial intelligence and are provided for practice and informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional career advice, guarantee interview success, or predict hiring outcomes. We are not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

AI models may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate responses. You are responsible for evaluating the relevance and accuracy of any feedback received.

8. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (resumes, CVs, STAR stories). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the Service to you. We do not use your uploaded content to train AI models. Your content is deleted upon account deletion.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service
• Share your account credentials with third parties
• Use the Service to generate harmful, abusive, or deceptive content
• Circumvent usage limits or billing mechanisms

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Unused session credits are forfeited upon termination.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Interview Sparring shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain and, where applicable, the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or in-app notice for material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
